Since 2005 we have invested over £2.7 million in vital veterinary research and education, driving improvements across animal health and welfare, both in the UK and in developing countries.
"The latest grant allows us to teach veterinary students the important area of dental radiography. This will improve their dental diagnosis and allow them to take skills into general practice which will benefit the practices they work for. More and more practices are now investing in this equipment. On our own patients, many of whom come from Edinburgh dog and cat home, patient care will be improved.
The RCVS Charitable Trust’s grants have transformed our dental teaching here at Edinburgh and the students, realising the real importance of this day one skill in practice, are most appreciative."
