We offer grants to practising vets and vet nurses, as well as vets in universities and animal charities, for projects that aim to impact animal health through research and education.

Main Fund (ending in 2011)
A small but wide-ranging grants programme aiming to drive intrinsic innovation across the profession, from blue-sky investigations, to opening students’ eyes to careers in research.

- EMS Vacation Research scholarships - Grant round now closed. Details of the awards announced.
- Small grants - One award for sheep or cattle RCVS diploma candidates only will be available - details yet to be announced.
Veterinary nursing anniversary programme (New)
Celebrating a landmark year, this dedicated programme aims to encourage veterinary nurses to push the boundaries of their role and to make a unique difference to animal care. We will do this by:

Supporting VN practical education with equipment grants. The application stage is now closed. Applications are being reviewed and awards will be made December 2011 / January 2012 (applicants will be notified directly).

Inspiring VNs to lead changes and innovation in practice. We want to hear about your light bulb moments at work.

Empowering VNs to disseminate their knowledge and experience.

Enquiring Minds and Incubating Ideas (New)
A pilot programme to investigate novel ideas and collaborations that have potential to become major activities for the Trust or others in the future.
